Product Composition

Kablino Cabinet Liner sheets are composed of kraft paper core sheets impregnated with phenolic resin. These sheets are then bonded at pressures greater than 1000 lbs. per square inch at temperatures approaching 300deg F (149 deg C). Finished sheets are trimmed and the back sanded to facilitate bonding.

Kablino Cabinet Liner sheets are designed to provide attractive lining and facing for cabinet interiors such as shelves, drawers shutters, doors and walls. They are solely intended for application to the unexposed rear sides of surfaces faced with High Pressure Decorative Laminates. They provide the fabricated surfface with balance and protection from humidity during normal use.

General Standards

Kablino Cabinet Liner sheets Type 101 conforms to the relevant standards of the American National Standards Institutes/National Electrical Manufacturers Association (ANSI/NEMA), LD 3-2005, for thickness performance properties and appearance.

Kablino Cabinet Liner sheet may be bonded with most adhesives. Recommended adhesives are permanent types, such as urea and polyvinyl acetate (PVA), and contact types. Please follow manufacturers recommended instructions.

Fabrication and Assembly

Take care to ensure an appropriate acclimatization between the laminate substrate and the cabinet liner sheet prior to fabrication. The materials should be acclimated / conditioned for a minimum period of 48 hours before fabrication.

The recommended conditioning / acclimation temperature for the materials is approximately 75 deg F (24deg C), with 45-55% relative humidity.
